Earlier this month Red Spider hosted the first competition in the UK that had an all-female setting team. The crew consisted of Evie Cotrulia, Emma Twyford, Gracie Martin and Leah Crane. I had the fun of joining them for the day and finding out a bit more about what life as a setter is like.
Evie and Emma recently set up Creative Climbing, a company that aims to encourage women into the world of setting through running a range of workshops. They're currently offering beginner sessions where you can learn the basics of how to set, including how to use a drill and attach a hold.
